What's the ScienceDirect Article Toolbox?

The ScienceDirect Article Toolbox brings together several items of functionality that help you do more with the research you are accessing and can save you time!

Here's a quick run-down of what each tool offers:
  • Download PDF -Use the Document Download Manager to download upto 20 full-text articles at once. You can automatically name downloaded content according to your own naming convention and pre-select a preferred destination for downloads.

  • E-mail Article - Quickly send an article to a fellow researcher in HTML or plain text.

  • Cited By -See a list of articles in ScienceDirect that have cited the article you are reading.

  • Save as a Citation Alert-Receive notification when the article you are reading is cited.

  • Citation Feed - Choose this option to get citations in RSS. ScienceDirect RSS feeds allow you to see when new articles, citations or search results are available on ScienceDirect.

  • Export Citation - Download all or a selection of citations to a citation management program such as ProCite, EndNote, RefWorks or Reference Manager.

  • Add to my Quick Links - Add the journal or book that you are reading to your homepage Quick Links for easy access.

  • Add to 2collab - Bookmark the article on Elsevier's online collaboration tool, 2collab, for the benefit of other researchers.

  • Permissions & Reprints - Users sometimes want to use figures, tables or images published by others, which is possible but must be requested. This link fast tracks the request and is enabled by the partnership between Elsevier and the Copyright Clearance Center's Rightslink service.

  • Cited by in Scopus - See a list of articles in Scopus that have cited the article you are reading.
